Given that the temple in Malta... practically the oldest in the world has it.... another of the oldest religious buildings in Ireland also has this... and Gobleki Tepi also has the spirals... I'd say it is pretty clear they were created in a religious context in the ancient world. Why else would all three of these structures.. the oldest religious sites known to man, have the spirals?
I'm not saying they are the same cult.
I'm saying they are claiming to be the same cult and that is why they use the same symbols.
The amateur occultists don't know the difference. They just need to believe their own cult is the oldest and the best.
possibly they could be trying to emulate, I wont dispute that. Because there is a lot things they suppress in antiquity . I dont have the time to look up what the carving mean. But, I remember they were theorized to what they represent.
I mean you cant go as far as saying it was a cult either. And again, they are not the same symbols
