this guy is a total amateur, first a shop vac to suck the water out of the sink and plumbing, second, no bowl or bucket under the trap to catch any water since the trap will have water in it, third first you take everything from under the sink and put a water catch, he let a bunch of water into the cabinet which is rule one don't fuck the customers cabinets with water damage. Total amateur or he doesn't give a fuck about doing a good quality job. He did the job but he was doing it with a lot of shortcuts that if I was the customer would be pissed with that water in a cabinet that might be chipboard with a finish and it will rot out quickly from that water. He also didn't have rags to wipe it up immediately. Seems more like a half ass contractor than a professional plumber.
i also didnt like that he let water sit too, that i agree with
he was trying to find where the blockage was... you'll notice he scoped it from there (inside)
It should never have hit the bottom at all is the point. It also got the stuff to the left side wet underneath. Hell I've been working with a plumber on site and they always fully emptied the cabinet and had something under the sink to catch any water and would remove the trap plug first before loosening fitting to allow all water in the pipes to drain before anything else. I believe he had the right tools for the job but his work inside was sub par. Hell the person that owned that home should start dumping a large pot of boiling water down the drain when they pour grease down the drain to melt and make the grease flow to the sewer lines. Hell when I did maintenance at a retail chain I would put Drain O in the sinks weekly and the clogging and smelly sinks worked and smelled fine after I started working there.
