Well you are entitled to your opinions. No one knows for sure that's what is so frustrating about life. From my experiences I think there is something more that we can't perceive and sometimes we get glimpses but never anything concrete.

Let me change that last part. We are all a bit entitled and are to materialistic, like the person that needs that new phone to show off or a better car for the one that runs fine, or a better home or apartment though to get away from shit neighbors it's fine. I see people fighting online at Walmart for shit because it's a little cheaper or over a game or some other bullshit. NO one is grateful for what they have and then keep buying like a shopaholic. I learned after a few buys as a teenager, wanting something is often more satisfying than having it. THis goes for women also because they seem better in your mind till you actually know them then the fantasies history. You buy that car you always dreamed of and a couple of months later it's just a car, new computer and next year it's to slow. It's all the same, it greed and not being grateful. Gotta go to the fancy restaurant, it's all a fantasy. Go to the store and buying groceries was for a time something I couldn't do and I'm now grateful I can. Having a crappy job, I have a paycheck and can pay the basics, I'm feeling good. It's all this materialism and showing off all the time. I can't stand fancy clothes and love my old jeans and worn tshirts. Sneakers and regular guy socks. This is what you are noticing.

Um I was thinking more about psychic experiences that I have had, but I agree that men are less manly today and people are materialistic. An attitude of gratitude is the key to happiness.

Maybe it's not psychic but just an epiphany or a gut feeling. I don't believe in ESP at all. Most phychics have been debunked fully as charlatans anyways.

How about we have all gotten soft. My grandfather and great grandfather built their own homes including digging the cellars by hand and using hand tools. The men my father brought over drinking when they had parties were all tough as nails and a friendly fistfight was not uncommon then seeing them over the next night and all it forgotten. Hell no one shovels snow hardly and besides our family everyone has self propelled or riding mowers, I push it all summer no matter how hot it gets. Most gardeners don't use shovels to make the garden and instead a rototiller. It's all toys now to do everything. Hell some even use paint sprayers instead of a brush like I end up using. Big peeve of mine, people just drop their trash on the ground with the trash can 4 ft away, to fucking lazy even to look for one and if they see it to ignore it because someone else will pick it up for them.
