Imo, excluding other economics, cali will mini implode due to trucking, logistics, and fuel/energy. Already shutting off nuclear, lakes are drained, solar sucks dick, wind is NOTHING.

"Implode" meaning highlight how shit this type of system is. No amount of gerrymandering will fix the simple obvious nature of the economics. Might take 6-10 months to really reveal itself / be obvious, but it'll eventually destroy the market for EVs except for virtue signaling braindead

Think china's gonna be any more friendly post ukraine/nato?

This is why blue states teach gender fluidity instead of basic math in schools.

Everyone who uses fuel oil to heat their homes is going to be screwed this Winter.

[–] 0 pt

Fuel oil is diesel. If diesel prices go up we are all screwed.

I'd guess EU. In the vast majority of Commifornia, we need air conditioning but not heating. In EU it gets sweltering AND freezing.

[–] 0 pt

Europe does not get sweltering. And there are many ways to heat a house.

[–] 0 pt

I opine neither; as long as there are trees, the masses won't freeze. growing up, all we had was a fireplace and we never froze. plenty of trees out there and they will grow back. Europe is already harvesting them for the cold months. I opine the climate crazies prefer carbon from wood rather than carbon from coal. either way, they gonna keep warm.

City dwellers can't cut down thier own wood. Firewood prices will skyrocket too.

I'm a city dweller and I have a right to prune my own trees. there is no laws where I live that prohibits tree trimming. I opine you are alluding to apartment complex people and yeah, I can see how that would be prohibited. But if we make our own firewood, there should be plenty of electricity to go around. I'm not hoping for this situation, only acknowledging it is possible.

You will not be able to heat your house with tree trimmings. Not only that, but fresh cut, live trees are not effective firewood.

2500 kW/h per month is not "totally fucking normal" it's extremely high. It's about 10x the household average in the UK pre-covid. I had no idea Americans waste that much money due to their temperature fragility lmao. What are they going to do when things get really bad and they can't use their AC anymore?

[–] 2 pts

The UK doesn't have AC because the climate is completely different you knobhead. Look up the word latitude.

[–] 0 pt

It got to 115F here for almost a week in places in California recently. That is why we have AC. I was working partially outside during that time and your body just cant keep up cooling if you do anything.

Funny video but I don't like the overall meaning behind it. It relies on two things, (((democracy))) and (((voting))) being good or truthful.
