Okay I forget which was which. I knew webm was just a container for mp4 but I kind of forgot. Does vid8 transfer from webm to mp4 automatically?
It would have gone to vid8 but I got a processing error and it was hanging at 1% forever.

vid8 doesn't convert from one file format to another. It does only fix .mp4 when the container isn't valid/corrupt.
