As someone who has kayaked in lakes and on the open ocean, I laughed. This guy tipped over very easily -- he should have been able to react fast enough to keep himself upright. A hard dig with the right blade of the paddle would have kept him in the kayak. The funniest bit was the very fast paddling at the end.

A gator is strong and that kayak looked ridiculously small. Also the sheer terror and surprise of a sudden attack like that would make even the most seasoned kayakers hard pressed to keep their head. He was smart to get tf out of there.
