Relatively is needed for why we can't detect the motion of the Earth. So technically you may be right, but a motionless ball Earth??

Edit: actually I don't think you're right about the parallax either, because you need a background to compare against. In the FE model, both sun and stars are at similar distances away, so no parallax.

So what causes the observed parallax if it's not real?

The stars being farther than sun, but both still being close.

Anyways that doesn't matter. FE terrarium model doesn't explain how north and south hemisphere have different stars that appear to spin around points. Man, just what the fuck is about the firmament and Antarctic that they would rather us believe flat earth.
