Just like there's nothing a passenger in your car can do to prove your car is moving. It might be that the highway and other cars are moving past your stationary vehicle.
So youre saying relativity is relative... gotcha. Based on vision alone, yes youre correct that it would be impossible to prove motion in the car. But there are a number of experiments one could perform to make this determination otherwise. The problem is, these experiments would relate to the friction the tires experience or the wind resistance from the atmosphere. These things dont exist for a massive rock hurdling through a vacuum so performing similar experiments is out of the question. From what i understand, its not possible to prove the earth is moving while on the earth, and i believe even Einstein commented, that for the sake of calculation, it matters not if you imagine the earth to be stationary with the entire universe revolving around us as the results will be the same. In other words, math is the only evidence in favor of a moving earth. No physical data (thus far).
Motion is relative. Without a reference point there is no such thing as motion.
