Thanks, I knew I was missing something.

What do you think all that bullshit about a pale blue dot in the emptiness of space was all about?

Things like that make me all the more disgusted with the animal ways humanity lives, when they're capable of so much more.

There is another way to frame your last statement, something that I have begun to work on in terms of narratives and engaging our people:

Instead of the frame be the emotion of disgust directed at our animal ways I am trying to build out a visual frame of a warrior sharpening his sword as he studies the way our enemies war against us.

Unfortunately, my approach means that we need to accept our savagery and feed it, which may not be aligned with your way of thinking.

But, you made a profound point.

I think the way forward is to see that the disgust is based on flawed ideas about degenerate people, and a false obligation to give them consideration. I think you have to come to a vision that you consider it your obligation to make manifest, and to treat degenerates as natural obstacles like any other, say some large rocks in the way that you need to move one way or another. It doesn't make sense to sacrifice the immense possibility to avoid upsetting the natives.

Sounds kind of like the jews. I guess you just need the luck to not lack empathy, and not see yourself as a special race merely due to identity.

Exceptional analysis. If you don't mind, I will add that to my own. Excellent and agreed.
