The reason he's revoking it is because there was a run on the banks. After people saw he could and would freeze funds because of a donation to a protest, it became clear to many Canadians their money is not safe in a Canadian bank.
Banks in turn pressured Trudeau to stop the madness. Don't expect media reports on this though.
