I'm well aware of what phylogenesis is, but it still doesn't explain how reptiles switched species and "evolved" into birds.

Dinosaurs were avian.
They were birds. Giant turkeys.
Which is why the sauropods are mysteries. They have a reptile shaped pelvis.
but remember.....earth is only 2400 years old or whatever the bible (one book of many) says
