So, was watching Timcast and they starting talking about Oath Keepers and how the guy that started / runs Oathkeepers HAS NOT BEEN RAIDED BY THE FEDS like other people in that organization have been. Sort of like Ray Epps not being indicted despite the video proof.
The summary is, just like the proud boys leader enrique tarrio turned out to be a fed informant, the idea is that the Oath Keepers head is actually a plant by the feds.
So. In the past the 3 letters used to infiltrate various organizations at various levels and try to disrupt groups from the inside and outside basically by setting them up and faking everything.

This is surprisingly good advice. We all have that internal radar that tells us that warning. I have boiled that down to our brains having an internal system that is always tracking the value of what is being exchanged. It works something like this:
If things of equal value are being exchanged, you feel good.
If you end up with something of lesser value, you feel bad.
If you end up with something of greater value, unless you REALLY worked to gain that value and that greater value was free, you get the feeling that something is wrong. That free value is almost always bait, and the the few times that it isn't bait isn't worth even thinking about.
This is all handled by a subsystem in our brain that does nothing but track the value of each transaction.
The interesting part is that it is based on innate transactional value of each trade that we are involved with. Even our monkey cousins have this built into their dna:

I don't fully agree with the scope that you are proposing, although, your guesstimate of the scope is probably closer than mine.
I am happy to read another voice against violence. I am not saying that our homelands won't turn into Lebanon one day, Europes last concentration camps weren't in ww2, they were in 1992 in the balkans for example and our governments are building new ones for us now.
However, the raw strategic wargaming of our options going forward DO NOT include any options for violence or similar activites. We need your name and info to "vet" you? That's an automatic no. Rule number #1 is none of us are able to dox each other? Ok good that's a start.
We need groups like this to get things done. We also need bold people willing to attach their name and reputation to our cause, but they need to be separate from these groups.
I have been thinking about this for a while. To my eyes, thinking about anonymity vs vetting are strategic options. Once you start thinking about it as a tool it gets easier to classify things.
The big issue is complexity I think. We can examine the world at various levels of resolution, so at the 10 000 foot level we can group things nicely but as you drill down things get messy.
I think simultaneously operating at various levels of resolution is important. I think complete decentralization and anonymity is a correct layer for some things. I can also think where complete transparency has a place too, with lots of layers in between.
Look, at some point we are going to have to acknowledge there is actually nothing to hide from. We are right. We are just. We are peaceful. We want our women and children to live happy and secure lives. There is NOTHING there that needs anonymity.

To add on to your last statement, I have wondered about what it means to raise children in a way that maximizes their ability to discern TRUE meaning and TRUE value. I don't have a solid answer but a part of it lies in the Rumspringa tradition of the Amish and echoed in a way by your last statement.
I have found that TRUE meaning in life, true satisfaction comes from the opportunity to experience true wealth and true loss. This has been a mark of my own life experience, but also an observation of watching others struggle to figure out what to value. Someone that has only ever had poverty will always thirst for greener pastures. Someone born into and living in wealth will be consumed by a kind of dull understanding of them selves and the world. Only if you have had the opportunity to taste riches (and pay the price that you need to pay to get them) as well as deep deep loss do you eventually figure out that we surround our selves with a matrix of bullshit and all that matters is your family and your people. I would give up everything to be able to spend regular time with my people around a fire grilling and just listening to them tell stories and play games. That is all that matters.
