Most people do not want to be leaders, and do not want to be the first ones to resist. Most people are followers.

On the contrary, everybody wants to lead. But most people don't want to follow just anybody. Just being the first one to resist is meaningless if you haven't ensured there will be a second.

You have to network with people first and establish yourself as a known and respected figure. Then you call a strike. But until those 30k truckers start organizing properly it's very unlikely any strikes will be effective.

They might want to lead, but they are too chicken-shit to do so, is the point I was making. So while they might have a fantasy in their heads, in reality, they are not leaders but are followers. They require someone to act first and then they can join in. We see this when we go to the store unmasked and other people see us not wearing a mask and take theirs off.

There is on way to "ensure" there will be a second, because people back out and ghost all the time. Especially in the age of the internet where all our communication is done over social media and we never meet other people in person.

I'm sorry, but no one has to be a "respected person" or "established" in order to call a strike. They just need to be sincere and demonstrate that they will do what they say they will do, and they need other people who agree with the position and are willing to follow.

There is not much that needs to be done in order to organize since they're not all going to get together in the same place. They all have different routes and are in different positions across two different countries. They just need a time and date to start striking and they can do so.

Sounds like wishful thinking to me, but we'll see in two weeks I guess.

Yeah, I don't think it's going to work, personally. There have been similar videos of truckers calling for strikes before, and they turned out to be nothing-burgers, so I expect this to go the same way.

People are idiots. They all seem to only consider their immediate, short-term self-interest which is receiving their next paycheck. They ignore that pretty soon, there won't be any food on their dinner tables, let alone money in their bank accounts, if they don't actually resist the vaccine passports and all the rest of the Great Reset agenda.

I've become increasingly pessimistic simply due to how fucking short-sighted and idiotic most people seem to be.
