Problem not even addressed. The average daily wage in Mexico is about $20 a day. Worldwide that drops to about $2 a day. Even if you could somehow halt all public assistance to these foreigners (good luck) they would still come here. They are willing to share a studio apartment and a single vehicle among a dozen of them. Basic economics shows that an influx of low wage workers will drive down wages and quality of life for your average American citizen. Why hasnt "immigration" been solved? The political right wants cheap labor. The left wants votes. The rest of us suffer. Even still, the cultural issues outweigh the economic. This country is more than a spreadsheet. Americans believe in individual (not collective) rights and behaving honorably. These ideas are unique to us. The more people we want that do not share our language, culture and values, the more those sacred concepts are replaced or abandoned. Ever notice how often Mexicans proudly wave the flag of the country they deserted and bitch about our country that took them in? Halt ALL immigration to protect those already here. To do this you must secure our border. The specific ways to do this can be debated. I say we bring home all military that is fighting Israel's wars and plant them on our border.
