Again, he would not have been shot down for breaking the rules or flying without permission.
I’ll say it again. Rent a commercial airliner and fly it from one coast to the other without responding to FAA demands to land. If you do it successfully, I’ll reimburse you for the rental cost. And fuck it, I’ll throw in a hundred grand on top of it.
You know you would be shot down. I know you don’t think they’d wait for you to point your nose at an occupied building before firing. Annoying intellectual dishonesty.
You're creating a strawman.
You demanded that I point out an instance where someone didn't obey FAA rules and didn't get shot down. I did that. Now, it's "fly a commercial airliner from coast to coast and not respond to demands to land". That goal post move is the intellectual dishonesty. And again, they won't be shooting you down because you broke their rules. They will shoot you down if you pose an imminent threat to life. If you made it to altitude, you could fly until you ran out of fuel and they wouldn't shoot you down until you made a furtive move to put people in imminent danger.
Show me you have the financial means to make good on your bet, and I'll take that bet. Of course, you'll have to define "commercial airliner" because you can't rent a plane from a commercial air carrier, and jumbo jets fly privately, without permission, all the damn time.
You demanded that I point out an instance where someone didn't obey FAA rules and didn't get shot down. I did that.
Lmao. Creating a false equivalency is not an answer. You provided an example that was not anywhere near comparable to what we were discussing. The dude wasn’t even in the air for 10 minutes. WE’RE TALKING ABOUT OPERATING NATIONAL FLIGHTS WITHOUT FAA CONSENT. False equivalency. Not a strawman. Jesus.
Now, it's "fly a commercial airliner from coast to coast and not respond to demands to land". That goal post move is the intellectual dishonesty
No, because THATS WHAT WE’VE BEEN DISCUSSING FROM THE BEGINNING; Whether or not national airlines could operate without following FAA regulations.
And again, they won't be shooting you down because you broke their rules. They will shoot you down if you pose an imminent threat to life.
Wrong. They will absolutely shoot you down if you don’t land when they tell you to. You KNOW this, and you’re deliberately lying just to keep a losing argument going. Annoying as fuck.
Show me you have the financial means to make good on your bet, and I'll take that bet. Of course, you'll have to define "commercial airliner" because you can't rent a plane from a commercial air carrier
Of course you can. A commercial airliner will absolutely rent a plane that is not being used at the moment. But regardless, any jumbo jet taken into the jet stream will do.
DM me to discuss how I can show you my financials without doxxing myself, and we’ll get it underway.
I don’t think I’ve ever won an internet argument by getting my opponent to commit suicide before, this’ll be interesting
We were discussing a person's ability to fly without a mask, the airline companies obligation to enforce a mask mandate, and whether you can break FAA rules without being shot down.
You've moved the goalposts to a completely different ballpark.
Delta, a commercial air carrier, cannot rent planes. And who said anything about the "jet stream"? The FAA regulates most airspace above 1700' agl over the US. And jumbo jets fly privately in that airspace, without permission, all the time.
