Eh, I'll give you that. Still, veganism is only possible with a lot of technology and planning. Otherwise there's almost always some nutrient deficiency that meat has in abundance, especially if you eat organ meat like you should.

Vegetarian is different than vegan. They use a lot of dairy in their diet, which supplies a lot of the nutrients that are otherwise hard to find, especially in a grass fed animal.
