Like seriously, they dont even conform to the miranda rights or just human decency
Did you see the psychopaths kicking people in the head after they'd already been subdued
Fuck those pieces of shit
This is why cops are never your friends
It's country that was literally seeded with criminals . What did anyone expect . An ex gf moved to melbourne 10 years ago , slinked her ass back after 3 abusive relationships . Makes me chuckle everytime I think about it . Edit : Not slink back to me ; we have mutual friends that I heard about her from - not that I asked .
You remember a website called bash.org? It had some of the funniest jokes on the internet back in the early 2000s, it was an IRC type system. I'd call it the grandfather of the chans/reddit/voat/poal. I think "memes" were sort of born there and began to take shape. Here's the joke:
User 1: "These fucking criminals... man, what if we just rounded up ALL of the criminals and sent them to an island. What do you think they'd say if someone came to that island?"
User 2: "Something along the lines of 'g'day, mate'."
The first user inadvertently described Australia, and our second witty user caught it. I love internet humor.
they dont even conform to the miranda rights
Miranda Rights is a USA thing. Each country has their sort of equivalent, I do not know what they call it in Australia, but I am positive that it's almost word-for-word the same thing we have here in the USA.
And yes, they're absolutely being shit all over.
I'll keep saying this: I remember being a teenager and seeing on the news the "Australian gun buyback program". I saw Aussies turning in rifles, shotguns, pistols, carbines, you name it- MOUNTAINS of guns were turned over. Then they were chopped to pieces and destroyed.
I wonder if the Aussies remember this as clearly as I do- they have to, it happened to them, right? So... I wonder how many are really, really regretting turning in their guns for a few hundred dollars? Because now they're trying to fight heavily armed and armored police with nothing but protests and pushing and shoving.
Armed protests should be a thing. Carrying a gun isn't a fucking threat- it doesn't become a threat until you verbalize that you are going to shoot someone, or you brandish the weapon. Protestors should be allowed to be armed to the teeth, so that when the brutal goons inevitably fall upon them with armored vehicles and shit, the citizens might have some chance at defending themselves.
Also, the Aussie police feel very confident doing this shit because they know they are facing unarmed, untrained resistance. You think they'd be as confident charging into a crowd and beating people left and right if they knew that every 3rd protestor had a rifle or a pistol on them? I think they'd be a bit hesitant.
For you glowniggers following my posts- I'm not calling for violence. I believe a show of force is necessary. Governments use it against their people to brutalize them all the time- it is meant to be the other way around. "When the people fear the government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." Does the Australian government appear to be afraid of the Aussie people? No?
