In a perfect world yes the man should be the bread winner so the wife can take care of the home and both should work together to raise the children. But thats not reality. For the majority, you need two incomes to even survive. Maybe your husband died or is incapacitated and the wife needs to work, maybe the wife makes a lot of money and they agree that the husband stay home with the children. What if they cant have children or choose not to have children, is the wife still regulated to house duties? Everything is situational. But if the father makes enough so the family can live comfortably, then by all means Im sure some women would love that luxury. Whatever works for the family.
