Just think how powerful the magnets that accelerate the particles in Cern's Large Hadron Collider are, to be able to accelerate particles to 99.9999991% of the speed of light.

Alternate title: how to chip your neodymium magnets.

My fingers recoil in fear..cool

I’ve always wondered if you could manage to arrange the magnets in a circle and essentially make a perpetual motion machine. Would be a momentous discovery

The magnetic field of a magnet is decaying overtime (especially when overused that way).

Not only that, but the physics equations that govern the magnetic field explicitly forbid creation of energy by said magnetic field

I remember doing something like this in high school for a science project. Fun times. On an unrelated note, the kids that were giving me trouble at the science fair were mainly pajeetlings, and the few kids that were genuinely interested and knew what they were talking about were white. Just an observation I made, and this was way before I was red pilled.

I can observe the same thing looking back too.

Here's a full scale version of magnetic acceleration.

TGV aren't Maglev based trains.

They are using regular railroad tracks.

[–] 0 pt

Their propulsion is electro magnetic based

[–] 1 pt

Their engines are electro magnetic based. Nothing related to a magnetic field that interacts with tracks

I think I just invented infinite energy. The answer to "perpetual motion" free energy that nobody can solve.

You see the last thing he did where he's rolling the magnet vertically up and down by spreading the plastic?

Technically, replace his hand movements with a river/ocean currents/waves. Voila, you have infinite and free "KINETIC" energy.

Wave Power Energy has been a thing for decades.

I know. That's ancient tech, but with magnets though? The magnet would produce the Kinetic energy. The same way a Seiko watch does. The waves would just make it go forever (but we would ALSO capture the energy the waves produce as well).

Imagine digging a tunnel from New York to California, lining it with magnets, and using it to transport cargo and people.

That would be awesome, but it def wouldn’t be cheap.

The maglev tech is well mastered now.

There's also a scam going on called Hyperloop. Even Musk ran away from it.
