Just like they shouldn't be front line infantry. Or pilots. Or any other physically-demanding, high-visuospatial-ability-requiring positions. Medics? Fine, absolutely. Radar tech. Sat systems... the list goes on and on. But we've **got** to stop pretending like there are no physical differences or that the differences are generally negligible. There is a chasm between men and women, physically, and it can't be legislated away. Mental differences too, but those are more malleable.
