It's not about race, it's about gender - or it should be. Females have no business being cops. They get scared and will shoot faster than any male cop would. There are NO female cops that can stand toe to toe with a male criminal and wrestle with him, they cannot "win." Their ONLY option is to shoot. Even if they use a stun gun, by themselves they CANNOT subdue a MAN.

I can see arguments for having some female cops, like some suspects might talk more easily if a woman questions them, or they might need female cops to do things like search women's bathrooms, or go undercover in places male cops don't belong.

You're right they shouldn't be beat cops though.

That's what I meant. Of course there are reasons to have females with a badge. We've lost our collective minds.

Ah, I thought this line:

Females have no business being cops

Meant literally no women doing any police work, not just patrolling.

search women's bathrooms

"Ladies the bathroom is closed for police business, please leave."

Only a problem in hyper PC lawsuit culture.

How you don't see a problem dealing with female perps while saying that shit is beyond me

"Sure thing mister occifer, just give me a minute to flush a few things."

Now what?

Sometimes you need to be subtle.

Just like they shouldn't be front line infantry. Or pilots. Or any other physically-demanding, high-visuospatial-ability-requiring positions. Medics? Fine, absolutely. Radar tech. Sat systems... the list goes on and on. But we've got to stop pretending like there are no physical differences or that the differences are generally negligible. There is a chasm between men and women, physically, and it can't be legislated away. Mental differences too, but those are more malleable.

I watched a neighborhood ogre charge a female cop standing beside her car; he had a chunk of concrete raised over his head and smashed it down on the hood. 2007 or 8. She didn't even react. He went back into his apartment after.
