Constant lack of oxygen to the brain caused by extended use of masks also seems like a probable factor, honestly
It's not so much the lack of oxygen as it is the build up of carbon dioxide that affects anxiety and cognitive function
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbogen
its called carbogen
e, "A carbogen mixture of 95% oxygen and 5% carbon dioxide can be used as part of the early treatment of central retinal artery occlusion. " so low percentage of co2 works fine.
hypoxia
Ah, TIL. Thanks.
Being fat changes how a person feels as well. They are always uncomfortable, aware of how disgusting they are, their hormones all fucked up, and usually in some sort of gastrointestinal distress. Not one of those butter golems was a decent size.
Diabetes can do some of the same stuff.
Would love to see a video of someone walking around with a pulse oximeter and discussing the results with people wearing a mask.
Anything below 90% is cause for medical intervention.
