They wren't "Special Forces" per se, just one of their "SpecOps" battalions, which was basically an airborne light infantry unit. Still you'd expect a little more from a unit they sent all the ay to the US for joint training. I'm sure their "Special Forces" guys are likely more professional, but they're also more into subversive shit and likely never partake in actual combat operations.

Kinda funny side note: When doing "fun jumps", or joint training exercises with another country, we usually exchange the jump wings of our country, and in the Army you're allowed to wear one foreign set of jump wings on your dress blues/Class A uniform. We literally all just chucked them in a drawers -some just tossed them right in the trash, but it wasn't many (they're still fun to collect) and wanted nothing to do with them, even though they did look fairly cool. Personally I liked to wear the German jump wings on my Class A's haha -they were't the sexiest, but you get it. The Italian wings are pretty cool as well.
