You are correct, coyotes are pests worse than rats. You wouldn’t not put rat poison in your home because dead rats would just be replaced with new rats. They are terrible animals that would kill you in a pack if they thought they could, I’ve watched them track me at night. They are also filled with disease that will kill you, livestock, and pets. Pro tip: coyotes don’t chew their food, they gulp it down, and they love rotting animals. Take a sponge and tie it up into a small ball with hemp twine, nothing synthetic bc the rope won’t dissolve. Then pour blood into a pan, throw your sponge ball in the blood, let it all rot for a week, then put it outside. Coyotes will gulp the sponge ball down, they’re stomach will dissolve the twine, and the sponge will lodge in their digestive track killing them.
