That's a retarded reason not to clear predators out from your area.
If everyone acted like that, we'd have wolves and mountain lions hanging around school waiting for recess to pick of kids. Good thing some people pushed them away and kept pushing them away every time they encroached.
You are correct, coyotes are pests worse than rats. You wouldn’t not put rat poison in your home because dead rats would just be replaced with new rats. They are terrible animals that would kill you in a pack if they thought they could, I’ve watched them track me at night. They are also filled with disease that will kill you, livestock, and pets.
Pro tip: coyotes don’t chew their food, they gulp it down, and they love rotting animals. Take a sponge and tie it up into a small ball with hemp twine, nothing synthetic bc the rope won’t dissolve. Then pour blood into a pan, throw your sponge ball in the blood, let it all rot for a week, then put it outside. Coyotes will gulp the sponge ball down, they’re stomach will dissolve the twine, and the sponge will lodge in their digestive track killing them.
You don’t seem to know that coyotes are active at night, mostly, because they know humans are dangerous to them.
Its called being nocturnal. Which animals where before humans.
For some reason I don't believe that you regularly shoot bottle rockets into the woods to scare animals away from your cats, and if you do... just... lol.... idk if when you said that if it was supposed to be sarcastic or not, but I hope so, because it sounded fuckn stupid.
Fuck, you are retarded. Saying culling predators is pointless because new ones will replace them is like saying hair cuts are pointless because it just grows back. Or why wash dishes they just get dirty again?!? I have to put down 1 to 3 animals a year. It's an unpleasant task but it's that or let them eat my chickens. I know there are still lots of predators around. I'm not trying to purge them from the area but when one starts hanging around the coop it gets dealt with.
I never claimed to speak for all farmers. Never even claimed to be a Farmer. I'm just a guy with some chickens. My position is that it's ridiculous to write off killing and relocation as pest/predator management. Deter/repel & kill/relocate aren't mutually exclusive. You lumped them into those catagories. I've had the most success with deter. However, predators are smart and patient. Sooner or later one finds a way in. At that point I opt for kill. The fewer I have to put down the better. If someone else can achieve results with a different mix good for them.
There are coyotes in cities.

Please don’t follow wrong advice about killing coyotes. Other coyotes, possibly a bigger pack, will claim their territory.
The surviving coyotes will now know better than to operate too close to that guy's house. They were encroaching if they took out a pet cat, a cat's territory is usually very small. That field was basically this rancher's front yard.
god-fearing about it.
Didnt god give us dominion over the animals? Also im am athiest so what ever.
Also as an Apex preditor I have no fucks to give.
