You'd be surprised at how many people actually buy into this shit. They actually believe they are doing their part in 'saving' the world. It's absolutely sick. To answer your question, I don't really know. Over the course of some 45 years or so, we had long grown apart. Being blessed with charm, friendly personality, and good looks, he pretty much could have any woman he wanted. His lifestyle was an environmental 'drifter' though. Never keeping a job very long. Always able to charm his way into new ones. As time went on, I'm sure his 'Lebowski' lifestyle (slacker) started to catch up with him. Since, women tend to look for men that will provide them their security, it didn't help in the serious relationships he had. They ended badly. Lot's of bitterness there, I think. Even his suicide upset many, many people from our HS class. Being very popular in school, people were shocked and felt somewhat betrayed. How could he do that? I also read the many comments on the funeral home web page for leaving Condolences. The remarks left there were from all over the country. To me, some of them were inappropriate. Writing a condolence shouldn't include vitriol from a past relationship, or diagnosing his 'mind' when he is deceased. It's pathetic. Anyway, my friend lived in this tiny dwelling that was more of a hunters cabin or a dwelling to house migrant workers (no migrant workers though). The mind-set of these uber-tiny dwellings is part of promoting the "Climate-change" BS, population-control, nihilism, and other destructive behavior.
