He got punched behind the ear, stunning him and making him lose his balance, and then within seconds was getting punched in the back of the head/side of the head which prompted a perfectly normal stoppage to the fight. Even before he went down he took a number of nasty hits to face which would have added pressure to the final blow behind the ear. There's nothing fake about what you just watched, you've probably never watched or interested yourself in UFC if you do believe it's fake (let alone the "fakest takedown ever"), and you're probably just mad your team lost.

dont be so certain

It's right fucking there in the video.

its also right in the video they communicated right before the very plausible but seemingly not-so-violent takedown occured.

and your comment that im responding to is invalid; no certainty can be surmised from the video.

UFC is worse than NFL in terms of demand for rigging. the hurdle i think you cant get past is how they beat the fuck out of each other if it's theater. my hypothesis is that the opponents are matched fairly fair and coded messages encouraging losing, rule breaking, advise from management, or even punishment if they sucseed are rellayed from time to time.

there's lots of money in these fights. what if the reigning champion has a sick day and just wants sick pay? or what if you could win the fight or your knee could give out so you request a no-contest agreement? these fighters could have bookees right there. the majority of the income generated from these fights and NFL is gambling.

the good criminals dont get caught.

I hit someone like that once in a friendly boxing match and I was surprised when he immediately said he was done and quit.
