I believe it. I doubled my department's revenue in a year and my employer took away one of our benefits companywide because overall revenue in the entire company was slightly down. So basically all the hard work in my department was helping keep the company afloat yet my benefits are taken away? That's supposed to keep me motivated after working my ass off? You'd think they would want to reward the department that saved their asses from destruction.

Well now they have to spend countless hours hiring and training someone to replace me because they couldn't just work to keep me. These high-level management people are complete idiots. They don't put themselves in their employees' shoes. They are so far removed from reality and in their own worlds with their heads up their own asses. This is why their tone deafness doesn't surprise me one bit. I've seen it before many times when I work with lazy CEO's.

Thanks, I'm trying to use it as an experience to lead me toward employing myself now so maybe it will turn out for the better.
