If time was speeding up and days were going faster... wouldn't digital watches be able to prove this?
I remember in high school a new kid moved to our town and he could grow a full beard and was starting to bald and easily looked 30. Another kid I had known my entire life started balding in high school and looked 35 by graduation. There was also another kid who was always pretty short, then I ran into him a couple years after high school and he was taller than me.
I have customers in their 80's who look better than some customers in their late 60's. I also had a customer in her mid 90's who looked younger than most 80 year olds. My brother in law went totally grey by his early 30's, yet my brother is in his 40's and still gets carded for beer.
Genetics play a huge roll in how you age, along with your lifestyle, upbringing and environment. These are pretty well established facts, and to throw all that out the window and just say "well maybe time's just speeding up" with zero proof is pretty ridiculous.
also, most of those younger people that look really old usually have bad teeth or no teeth. once their jaw starts to deteriorate they look old as hell.
