there are four primary gamer phases that indicate the state of your gamerability:

Phase 1

Phase 1 is common among normies and casuals, phase 1 gamers only play casually and don't make a big deal about it. Phase 1 gamers are the marvel fans of video games because they have absolutely no respect for the medium, if you're a phase 1 gamer you should be scared and immediately move to the next one. they only play sony walking sims and assassins creed clones

Phase 2

Phase 2 gamers is entry tier, by now gaming is a general hobby and you start to get into higher tier games. games that are polished and have decent mechanics. however while this tier is acceptable none of the phase 2 gamers ever get into hidden gems like nier 1 or angband, and they usually don't play anything that is slightly old or clunky unless it's nostalgiac

Phase 3

Phase 3 gamers are gamers at their peak, it's what every gamer should strive to be. they play gaming classics such as kingsfield, angband, genealogy of the holy war, etc. gaming takes up most of their day, as they game for at least 8 hours a day. any less means that their day is incomplete and they should've skipped work. the newer games they play generally have more soul, such as nier automata and Deadly Premonition 2. They also start to incorporate top tier gamer tech into their lives. for example, a phase 3 gamer might use a 2010 screwdriver over a 2020 one depending on the specs. gamer music is ritual and it starts to drag them away from normie zoomer/millenial culture. I'm a mid tier phase 3 gamer only because lately I've been working to the point I can't at least play 8 hours. I'm only able to play 5 to 7 hours ;( it's gross but once I get enough money to supply myself with an infinite supply of chicken tendies and gamer fuel, i'll quit my wagecuck job and get back to full time gaming

and lastly, there's:

Phase 4.

the Phase 4 Gamer has reached his absolute peak. Disgusted by the quasi relics of the new world, they revert to weaker tech such as the DOS or PC 98 to flex their gamer tech and keep themselves pure of new gaming culture. the only exception is that they try new consoles to keep up with current gaming news so they can trash on new games to save the next generation of gamers from bad taste.

Gligar13 is at least a Phase 4 Gamer. I say this because it's possible he pushed the limit and leveled up to Phase 5. Maybe one day you'll be able to understand, but only if you abandon society's soulless culture and work towards being a true gamer
