I remember a local NJ radio station promoting what they called "GRIP." Get Rid of Incumbent Politicians. The theory was that it didn't matter who was in office because they were all out to line their pockets, so every election would be used to clean the slate until they got the message. Obviously, it didn't work but it was a good idea.
