There is always that risk. Compare that to the consequence of nearly complete addition of vax in the gene pool, though. Read up on pundit squares.

There's actually a really great way to get in touch with lots of unvaccinated people IRL. It's called the Orthodox Church. Just go there. You'll be amongst your own kind and you get to worship God!

Orthodox is very much a mainstream Christian Church. Hard core without being nutty. These are the Russian branch of the Christian Church family tree.

If you're interested, this website: https://orthodoxyinamerica.org/ has the location of every church in the country. Try to find an OCA church if you can. That's the Orthodox Church of America. If there aren't any then go with a Russian one.
