Both are officers, one with 15 years(must be prior enlisted) and one with 17 and only care about their retirement/pensions.
They could get out any time after 8 years of service but choose to stay. The writing was on the wall at the beginning of Covid, they were two of the lucky ones that won that fight and should’ve jumped out right after.
Who gets a waiver for a flu shot, you have to be buddies with the medics to have them sign off pretending you got it. The only 2 years I didn’t end up with the severe flu like everyone else were the years I didn’t get the shot.
