Use of mRNA gene therapy for treating terminal cancer may be one of its few legitimate uses. In this scenario, the risk calculus is dramatically different. You are facing a practical 100% chance of death, so if the treatment has a 5% chance of killing you outright it would still be something to consider.

The use of this technology for a widely distributed therapy to otherwise healthy people is totally different. The level of risk that is acceptable in such a scenario is many orders of magnitude less. mRNA technology is totally unsuitable for any condition that does not entail a significant risk of imminent death.

I think it is the other way. Deadly vax only with using in cancer cases is now killing everybody.
