They gotta keep us sick and on drugs to make money. If they made it easy to get our own tests and diagnosis and treat ourselves they'd be out a lot of cash. They love to treat the symptoms rather than the cause.
I have had four doctors refuse to order thyroid antibody tests 'because the treatment is the same whether you have an autoimmune condition or not so there's no point.' It doesn't matter to them that if I can keep my antibody levels down, my thyroid takes less damage and therefore I don't need as much meds. Not that I use their meds. I buy dessicated thyroid but they all wanted me on synthroid.

Hmm, I have a friend who has been of great help to me through this, she is type 1 and has recently had thyroid issues. I’ll ask her if she knows of the desiccated route. I’m sure like with synthetic vitamins, there is only trouble down the road.
Lol, the first doctor I went to about this right off the bat suggested the vax! These people are sick. Finding a good doctor is like the needle in a haystack. It’s insane and oh so tiresome.
I used to use porcine dessicated but whatever they make the pill with wasn't getting digested. I'd see it lol.
I use Thyrovanz currently which is bovine. It's more expensive than the stuff I used to get from Thailand but it works great for me. It includes both T3 and T4. Most docs only prescribe one and expect your broken thyroid to manufacture the other which is dumb. And it keeps you having a lot of oddball symptoms they can 'treat'.
