Let’s hope they were all the same shout, and that those reports of targeted shots per region are incorrect. I’d hate to think some got a placebo filled with water while others got the real thing….
Time will tell. I think that this is reaping what is sown, and that is good. However the effect of this on the remainder of us is hard to quantify. My guess is that this will result in a destabilizing effect beyond what we already see in major metro areas. That will probably bleed into rural areas and result in violence which will further reduce the population. The reduced population, scarred from violence will likely become easy to manipulate in ways that make the shot seem tame.
