Just sheep.

*”I'm at a point that I don't want any pharmaceuticals, no matter what. I simply don't trust them.”* I hear you, man. Right after COVID first broke out and no one really knew what was going on, I was diagnosed with Hep C. This was right as the lockdowns were beginning. To be clear, I contracted it through no fault of my own..I had acquired it as an infant though blood transfusions in the early 80’s..and it turns out that Hep C can be dormant in your system for 30+ years before it wakes up and starts to replicate..which is what happened to me. Back when I was a baby, they didn’t look for it in the blood supply because they didn’t know it existed. But I digress… Anyway, I had two options. Take no medicine and have faith that God would just heal me, or take the pharma cure (which was a pill). I took the pill. I wasn’t hardly as sketchy about pharma in general at that time, but the pill did it’s job and I was cured of a disease that only 10 years prior, would have been a death sentence. Well, then along comes the jab. My mother, who is a nurse and otherwise intelligent, actually asked me why I trusted that pill but didn’t trust the jab. I was like really? Well, the pill was actually tested and developed over more than a decade. Yes, it may have side effects for some people, but none of them are life threatening..at worst, they would be a mild inconvenience. Point being, we knew what to expect from it because it had been thoroughly tested and there was actually informed consent..and oh by the way, the government wasn’t trying to force me to take it. I was given a choice.. so, apples and oranges, mom. (And it turned out I had no side effects from it, thank God) All that to say, a lot of people who took the jab somehow had (and still have) this cognitive dissonance where they view it like other drugs with no regard for the fact that the fuckin jab was not tested. And dude, I’m with you. Ever since that whole jab debacle, I have a hard time trusting anything that comes out of that industry. Luckily for me, I wasn’t as skeptical when I took that pill and that pill worked for me. If I got that same diagnosis today instead of back then, I’m not sure what I would do considering the skepticism I now have. It’s a weird place to be for me personally. I think there are a lot of unnecessary and/or damaging drugs that get pushed on people via doctors and big pharma. And then the vax is like that but even worse. But at the same time, that pill *did* cure me of a disease that otherwise (barring divine intervention) would have killed me slowly and painfully. It’s a weird place to be, man. I think where I sit now is that I want to avoid everything that comes out of that industry unless there’s a legitimate cure which I actually need for an actually deadly disease. But short of that? Hell no.
