i have to stop myself from looking physically revolted and concerned for the persons health when they say they got the jab. then if we debate the covid-19 jab and they bring up how everyone who was working was forced to take it to keep their job, i tell them they "forced you to stand up for yourself and you didnt". Poal gave me that quote and i use it well
My mom took it because she isn’t well and they pressured her to take it. My brother and his family didn’t protect her from it. I’m so sad abd angry about it.
I'm really sorry to hear that. Pretty much my entire family took the jab. all but my sister who has no desire to pass on her awesome genes has had it. I got COVID when i went on a trip to my folks out in the midwest and they didnt get it quite as bad. They have had COVID 19 before but they claim the vaxx was worth it because they didnt get nearly as sick the first time. The whole situation is aggressively cringy and what makes it so bad is it involves our misguided loved ones.
Or use your parents quote:
If everyone jumped off a bridge would you?
well, as far as the quote goes, i wouldnt jump off a bridge as a general good rule of thumb. if i needed to chose between always or never jumping off a bridge, i would chose to never jump off any bridge.
but as far as assessing situations go, i would need to know more information. i would heavily take into account who is telling me to do it, why, and do my own investigation. If I am told not to investigate and go off of trust alone I would do everything in my power i could to not jump.
The current generation possess none of these skills that's why we need to spell everything out for them now.
