I didn't know about nitter.it, learn something new everyday. I tried that link 5 times in a row with no luck, changed it to nitter.net and it worked first time. I prefer using unofficialbird.com because I've never seen it fail yet.

There are lots of . I have a to automatically redirect twitter.com URLs to a Nitter instance. Every now and then the one I’m using starts having problems, so I switch to another one on that list.
