I'll probably get flamed for saying this in the /Vax channel, but I don't mind.

First 5 seconds: "No history of any vaccine saving so much as one life." (Add angry finger point for emphasis.)

False. Small pox vaccine. (Originally derived from cow pox puss.) A disease with a 30% fatality rate has been eradicated from the developed world.

Fascinating history if you care to read about it. I'll give the high points:

  • The "milk maids" (young women who worked on the dairy farms and milked cows every day) were often prettier than the average women because they didn't have the pox scars that were common with the broader population.
  • Someone figured out that the milk maids were getting the much milder cow pox that was common in the dairy cows and thereby were generally immune to small pox.
  • The original vaccine involved (a) cutting open a cow pox sore (on a cow) and draining the puss, (b) making a small cut on the kid's arm, and (c) rubbing the puss into the cut on the kids arm. Rather barbaric, but effective.
  • In Canada, French language newspapers called the procedure "evil" and "a trick of the dirty English". After a few years, the French speaking communities had significantly higher small pox infection rates vs. the English speaking communities.

I'm not "pro vax" (especially this covid BS.) And fuck the WHO. But, being dogmatic "anti-vax" just makes this lady look stupid. Point being. Simple people will say "all is good" or "all is bad". The truth is rarely that simple.

Smallpox is literally the only case I can find of an actually effective vaccine. Just about every other well known "success story" can be mostly attributed to sanitation and clean water advances. And in the case of smallpox it is clear that natural immunity via living in natural rural conditions is superior to urban drug dependency.

Maybe that's the case (probably, but I don't know) ... but, the point being is when people use absolutes w/r/t science, philosophy, etc, they look like fools.

This crazy lady loses all credibility and looks like a raving lunatic with her first sentience of the video. Either she is a fool or she is worried that she loses the argument if she doesn't deal in absolutes. Ether way, we should shun her and ignore her.

We've got to support / promote thinking people who can have rational discussions without being all or nothing on any topic.

The commie bastards on the left love to deal in absolutes. (If you haven't noticed this, I'd encourage you to look for it .. it's everywhere.) I rationally reject their thinking. But, to be rational, I must also reject absolutist on the other side of the spectrum.

Note that the Small Pox "vaccine" was administered by scarifying the skin with a bifurcated needle that held the solution. It's a very different application method (in my mind) versus the typical modern vaccine with injection deep into muscle tissue.

Also if you're committed to using your wealth for Eugenics and someone invented a way to save millions with a succesful vaccine that the entire population was given, what a fantastic way to now get poison into useless eaters.

Everything starts noble and good until someone makes an industry out of it.
