That would have been enough shots to jab ~63% of the entire Canadian population once. Not quite enough for a full round of boosters, but those are only the shots that were already shipped shipped.
There is still a low rate of doses being administered (ourworldindata.org). The rate increased a bit starting in September. It’s not the high rate back during the initial roll out or the harsher mandates coming into effect, but there are still people making a pharmacy visit to voluntarily mess up their bodies further. As far as I know booster doses are not mandatory for anything in Canada.
Those are just the ones that have expired so far. I forget the exact number, but when they bought hundreds of millions of doses, they had enough for 5-6 doses for every Canadian.
