This cartoon is from a 1981 book called "Wright Side Up" - it's a goldmine of political commentary. Comics about niggers burning cities for perceived injustices, congress being owned by the oil companies, a clueless president, Israel's overreach...change a few of the names and it was written yesterday.

wasn't it something like 25 deaths and the SF jab was pulled?

Who was the artist?

I recall there was this one artist who was pretty famous back then with the political cartoon books.

The guy's name was Don Wright. It looks like most of the stuff was pre-1980, as it talks about Reagan in the sense that he's running for president.

Is that supposed to be a commentary on how many "studies" are bullshit? Like if you force feed a mouse an entire slice of lasagna it's gonna die?

Yes, the "In high enough volumes, anything can kill you" fallacy of studies.

Or in today's terms "It's all bad eat the bugs instead!" or "It's this stuff that's killing you, totally not the vax!"
