The term AIDS is reserved for the acquired immune deficiency syndrome caused by HIV - there are a lot of other acquired immune deficiencies / autoimmune diseases (and there are strong hints that vaccines can cause some of them), but these should get other names to distinguish them from AIDS.

Some influencers who say "AIDS!!11" just want to cause panic because panic leads to more clicks or helps them to spread the message. All other people talking about "autoimmune" mean any mechanism where the immune system attacks the body or itself. There are many such mechanisms, for example, when antibodies that can attack healthy cells slipped through the quality control of the immune system. Or when a virus infects cells of the immune system.

Some viruses can insert their genetic code into the genetic code of a host. HIV does that with cells of the immune system, so these cells cannot only create viruses, but create virus producing cells when they duplicate themselves. The only way to get rid of them is to suppress this part of the immune system, and that's what the rest of the immune system tries. mRNA vaccines cannot do the same because no genetic code can produce mRNA vaccine - the lipid nanoparticles are missing. Viral vector vaccines consist of viruses that lack the ability to insert their genetic code into the genetic code of infected cells. At least, that's what the manufactures promised.
