How long do you think these adverse reaction lasted?

Do you think they are crippled for life, and we just halved the working population... or will they recover from their adverse reactions after a few days (sort of like a flu)?

I doubt it will take long to notice the aftermath of most adults being suddenly too sick to work, forever. Halving the working population. Halving people working in garbage disposal, grocery, farming...

I'm really going out of a limb here, and I now that's an outrageous assumption, but I bet they recovered from their adverse reactions in a few days.
