Births in hospitals are such a waste of money and by and large a terrible environment for a new baby and a new mother. Birthing has been happening literally since the first fucking human. It is not even close to being an emergency procedure.

you can just hire midwives and give birth at home. US, Canada and I think Europe are about the only countries that normalized going to a hospital to give birth. while the rest of the world does it at home
