My city finally lifted their non-enforced mask order when over 50% of the residents were already ignoring it. The city council pretended it was because all their milestones for "beating COVID" had been met but it was really because the police chief told them he wouldn't enforce their bullshit and everyone not wearing masks was making them look really gay.
