If widespread and large scale testing had been done on the tests themselves, no one would rely on them for any medical use. All it would have taken was a thousand patients randomly tested, and see which ones are positive. See how it correlates to who is actually sick. See how many positive tests came from patients who are perfectly healthy. See if another group of blind researchers could predict who is more infected than others based on tests. Repeat this many times and different locations with transparency at every step. I actually may have even consented to being tested if I knew it would help show the tests to be frauds. If half the people who test positive are actually physically fine, yet lockdowns and restrictions are based on “case numbers,” it should piss people off to learn that a Covid “case” is a meaningless phrase based on a crap shoot testing kit. I work at a hospital and at first, they stopped testing asymptomatic people. I even have a screen shot from a hospital email that literally says “the tests are not reliable” received in March 2020. But they later resumed testing everyone when they realized they were getting paid more for “Covid cases.” This is what actual science, actual critical thinking, would look like. But instead science now means just accepting whatever the government rolls out even if it’s a testing kit for a supposed virus that just appeared a couple months ago, with no proof that it’s reliable in any way, without a single moment of critical thinking.
