20%. 2019 US deaths- 2.8 million. 2020 US deaths - 3.4 million

Even if real, 20% is just not significant. People who already had 1 foot in the grave could have died a little bit quicker for any number of reasons. Most notably less access to medical care because hospitals were reserving beds for the non-existing 'pandemic', people were afraid to go to the doctor because they might be contaminated and so on. Also, obesity increased dramatically since the beginning of the pandemic, which may have caused excess deaths as well. Suicides due to people losing their livelihoods during the lockdowns and so on.

In fact, once you add up all the excess deaths, 20% seems low.

There was never in recent history such decreased access to medical care and such dramatic social changes.
