Reminds me of some parts of Namibia. Ironically, one would think that Africa would be cheap as dirt, what with the economic system being only a complicated ruse and the money being repurposed from discarded *Monopoly* games, but it turns out that nearly anywhere that looks nice has either had the property values inflated to shit by foreign investment, or is under the control of some barely-legal government agency. Which is one of the reasons I live in a van.
