I'm not as good with the heat as I used to be, but without the time to gradually acclimate, this shit has been killing me. Hopefully, we're going back to normal here.
The older you get, the harder it is to deal with the extremes, I think. I can vouch for the fact that that's the case for me.
Do not bring that up, please. About a year ago I had a heart attack. First thing I noticed afterward was "shit I can't catch my breath in the heat and I feel like I'm gonna pass out!"
What a drag it is getting old. I used to be so fucking robust. I never imagined late 50s would be like this.
I haven't had the heart problems, but as a lifelong smoker, I've messed myself up and have COPD. A self-inflicted wound, so I have nothing to bitch about. But am tied to O2 now. No fun, so I understand.
